I like this.
"I have no faith in that woman who talks of grace and glory abroad, and uses no soap and water at home. Let the buttons be on the shirts, let the children's socks be mended, let the roast mutton be done to a turn, let the house be as neat as a new pin, and the home be as happy as home can be." Charles Spurgeon
I have started on a Brooklyntweed knit called Porom. I am using the suggested Jamieson Double Knit yarn. It feels kind of scratchy and could be splitty were it not for my Addi's and some care, but I must say, I REALLY like the way it looks knitted up. It has a "dry" feel, not cushy like Beaverslide( my all time favorite yarn) which still holds on to some of it lanolin. So, I use lots of lotion and keep on knitting.
