I don't know if I'm the only one, but I love the smell of wet wool. Or maybe I love the smell of Eucalan. Either way, there is something about the final washing of a hand knit article that is very satisfying. The wool blooms and softens and takes on the faint scent of the wash. Blocking the garment is the finishing touch, making it be the way it was meant to be.
God does that for us. We read his word, he softens our hearts, we become what we were meant to be and take on his sweet fragrance. Wet wool reminds me of this.
