Kale Soup


Our temperatures dipped to freezing last night.  By 5:00pm I was ready for a steaming bowl of soup. This quick dish is a family favorite.  Easy and nutritious, it hits the spot.

 Easy Kale Soup
1 lb. of sausage ( you can use kielbasa, turkey, italian or whatever you like.  I use Aidell's gluten free chicken and turkey Italian. It is precooked, so you just throw it in the pot, otherwise you may need to brown your sausage)
1 can Great Northern Beans
1 16. oz. can diced tomatoes
1 32. oz. chicken broth
1 bunch of kale, washed and cut off the stems, chop coarsely

Throw it all in the pot, bring to a boil and simmer until kale is cooked.
