Stretchy Cast Off

When binding off an edge that needs some stretch to it, this is an easy cast off.  Cut your tail at least 3 times as long as the edge you want to finish.  Then insert the needle as if to purl through the first two stitches as seen here.
Now put the needle back into the first stitch on the needle as if to knit. Now pull this stitch off the needle.
Continue these two steps until you reach the end of the work.  It is easy and very stretchy, a perfect edge for things like fingerless mitts.
