Glaciers, Cancer and Yarn

It's not everyday you fly over a glacier.  Flying in to Anchorage on a sunny day is breathtaking!
My sister is done with chemo and surgery and today will begin radiation. She has 7 weeks of treatment, physical therapy and herceptin infusions every three weeks for a year. We have hit some yarn stores (of course) and have eaten out a few times. My yarn stash and love for Alaskan fare have increased! Pictures to come.

  1. I'm glad you're able to get out and enjoy a little bit of what AK has to offer...and sample the LYS too. :) I hope the rest of your sister's treatment goes well!
