Drop Stitch Cowl

 The Drop Stitch Cowl is a wonderful gift knit.  It knits up quickly and the uses little yarn.  One skein of Mirasol Yarn Ushya was all it took.  It is soft and warm.  Cowls are warm, don't get stuck in car doors and are a great accent!

Today it was sunny and warmish in Cincinnati.  I am fighting a cold and feel like being a vegetable. Hubby treated me to sushi tonight and we hunkered in for a Dr. Who marathon.

Last night our Bible Study with our young adult group  focused on Philippians 4. Paul exhorted the church to maintain unity, to remain generous, and to not be anxious for anything. He revealed his ability to be content, even though he was in prison.  We have a lot to learn, don't you think?
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me -- put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." (NIV)
